Personality Designer update needed!
 

I'm not sure if this is the right subforum, but me and other players would like hotkey options added to Personality Designer that allows us to Toggle Next / Toggle Previous emotes.

The mod author, Atronyx, isn't actively working on this anymore. The only hotkey option available is to toggle this mod On/Off.
Unlike it's counterpart addon, Custom Idle Animation, which gives you the hotkey options to toggle On/Off and switch between Emotes you've created with hotkey binds.

I've checked the comments of the addon and you had asked there at the beginning of September.
Would be nice if you mention this with your post directly.

Did you contact him via private message already and did he respond, or not?
Before someone can work on the addon the current dev needs to acknowledge this or the total addon would need to be recoded.
Please ask Atronxy via private message if he is still maintaining the addon or if he allows someone to take over, or add features via a patch.
He needs to enable patches at the addon then.

He never responded so I assumed he was not actively working on this adddon anymore.

No, I didn't contact him via private message. I just sent one now, though. So perhaps he will reply to it I hope.

In the comments, he says it's okay for anybody to take this code and write their own or expand upon it. I took that as he wasn't doing anything else with it anymore.

What happens if Atronyx doesn't respond? Can someone else take over the addon? What is the wait time?

Thanks for writing the PM. a PM may even inform him by email (if he enabeld that in his profile), an addon comment msut not automatically do that. So maybe he will notice something is going on that way.

I think someone could justw rite a patched version and release it via the pacth functionality of the addon (it's enabled too):
