what could cause the text error ?
 

Starting may since yesterday, when i enter CYro or BG i have some particular text on the load screens



As you can see some letters are replaced by stranged signs.

I do not use any addon to transform the screens.

Any idea what could cause this ?


beside i am PC/Win10/ENG United States/FRA (canadian multilingual standard Keyboard)/ if that can help.

And i am playing the game in english

Check if you have recently updated addons and Minion installed a "Korean" patch by mistake.
There exists some for CraftStore or Tamriel Trade Center or Dolgubons Lazy Writ Crafter other addons.
Deinstall these addons and try to install them new with the correct version.

Use this script ingame:
/script SetCVar("language.2","en")

As for mystery ........ the strange characters have totally vanished since today ....... if i did not take a picture i could have thought i totally imagined them lol

Maybe run a system scan for trojaner and malware. You never know :p
