Especially the macros do what they should do.
The game's API is restricted so you need to change the weapon bars in order to get all skills switched properly and you need to save each skill bar as it is active, and not only once (saving at skill bar 1 only will save bar 1 and not 2. you need to switch to bar 2 and save again with the same preset name!).

some years ago my mind would have probably go easy with the macros thingie, but as of now its like my mind decided to be on strike. I am not good a macros stuff at all, got me almost 2 years to understand how to make my g105 kb work, and still i use it very basic
