There is only one workaround:
Use your mouse's software to set mouse5 to another keyboard key combination like CTRL+. e.g. for e.g. ESO64.exe
Then install the addon "Emacs" to suipport ctrl, alt and shift keryboard modificators at the keybinds and set the keybind of your desired keybind to CTRL+. (or the mouse should be able to press mouse5->which will result into this key combination then).
If your mouse drivers and software are not able to do so there might be other "emulation" tools out there supporting this globally for all mouse and keyboards like "Autohotkey".
