Can you post your minion.xml and minion0.log in a new thread? I think the cause of your problem is different than the OP's.
- go to your applications folder
- open the utilities folder
- find the "terminal" application and open it
- in the terminal type the following: open ~/.minion
- a new folder will open with some files inside.
- attach the minion.xml and minion0.log to a new thread
