Well, same for Quest Map. New quests need to be collected via an extra addon.
Destinations collects them automatically ingame if you enable the settings to do so, and you need to extract and send them the addon dev then:

And then integrated into the addon. It's no autoaatic quest collection and update for new zones. It's all manual. And the players need to share the data and the dev needs to use and integrate it! So this is a high manual effort which noone wants to take anymore obviously.

So if noone collects the data and adds them to the addons they cannot show them. No matter if Destinations or Quest Map.
But at least Destinations is updated to show bosses, delves and POIs in new zones as it seems, where as Quest Map is not updated since months.
