About obsolete addons:
Obsolete does not say they do not work, you need to try if hey still work and/or read the addon comments if other users report that they are broken.
Wrong installed: I do not know what you mean by wrong installed? Who does say so?

Make sure to extract the zip files properly so that ONLY the addon folder from inside the zip file get's extracted to the live/AddOns folder!
Do not let it create any other subfolder from the zip file name.
Example - Addon name: LibAddonMenu, zip filename: LibAddonMenu-2.0_r31.zip
zip file conains folder: LibAddonMenu-2.0
Extract the zip file to your live/AddOns folder like this:
[WRONG]
live/AddOns/LibAddonMenu-2.0_r31/LibAddonMenu-2.0
[CORRECT]
live/AddOns/LibAddonMenu-2.0
