Sorceror Addon:
Last night i did a bit of 'brainstorming' on some things i would love to have playing my sorc.
First of all i love FTC and Unity HUD, it helps a lot keeping track of the 'base' stuff.
I'm sure good players don't even need addons for doing well but for me,
being some aged and lazy kind of sorc-player i would definitely love an addon
that helps keeping track of some sorc-focused stuff.
Being a n00b to lua and having no clue on what the API can provide you with.
I made up a list of some things that i hope to see in the future.
-
Crystal Fragments Procc
Lodur already did this but i was thinking of the icon being on a hidden
movable frame that pops up if you get the procc.
-
Classbuff Tracker
I know FTC and U-HUD already provide buff trackers but i'm looking
for a more sorc selfbuff focused frame that helps to keep track of
things like 'surge', 'boundless storm' or 'conjujured ward' ect.
(a separate movable frame providing expiring timers would be awesome)
-
Seperate Enemy Castbar
to move freely on the screen and to keep track on the targets casts,
helping to decide whenever a cast-interrupt is needed.
(thinking of veteran boss casts that need to be interrupted ect.)
-
Target-of-Target Frame
-
Ultimate Energy Bar
A separate bar to keep track of your amount of ultimate energy.
-
Cast Reflect Alert
A hidden movable frame that pops up when being hit by things like the templars
'Eclipse' ect. would be very nice to have.
-
Execute Alert
that reminds you of the enemy being < 20% HP to Mage Fury.
(maybe enemy HP bar blinking, turning to another color or a popup to move around the screen)
-
CC Beak Reminder
whenever being hit by some CC you are able to break out of via LMB+RMB.
-
Block Feedback Frame
something like Gentracks AMF to get used to blocking/ practice blocking
I know many ppl out there may think having this kind of help is lame and no challenge at all.
But as i said before i think there are more lazy ppl out there (like me
)
that would love to have some of this stuff to focus on other things like positioning ect.
when there is much action going on.
