How do i add new found locations (Fishing Holes) in Destinations.

If it can be done that is.

The best way would be to write them to the comments of the addon, or write the addon author a private message.

But the addon author is due to have major sugery and i didnt want to contact him has he says he may be away for awhile.

I just wondered if i could just add them myself.

You could try to understand the addon's file structure. I didn't so far :-)

Backup your files before you change them!
Check the addon directory's sub directory "data" and have a look at the file "DestinationsSharedData.lua".
In there you'll find an array "DestinationsACHDataStore" with some region information and the positions of various spots, like 40 for "foul Water Fishing Spot", 41 for "River fishing Spot" etc.

You could check the region where you need to add your fishing spots, declare if they are a river (041), ocean )=42) etc. spot and try to add them afterwards by copying an existing line, changing the type and coordinates.
->At the end of the line you'll find a comment like "--1,2,25 > SnowmanDK"
This seems to describe the user and version of Destinations as this coordinate was added. So put your name and version info in there too ;-)

Destinations addons got 2 active devs, so it's still updated event it's author is a bit away
