AFK Check

I am not sure if the information is available in the API, but if it is show exactly who isn't ready and who isn't ready. Add check marks next to their name in the ui group/raid frame or in the party list. If you go the checkboxes in the ui route, it would be awesome if it was nicely compatible with UI frames like AUI and LUI.

They added a ready check feature into the base game with the latest update:
You can now initiate a Ready Check to ask your group if everyone is ready (no need to jump up and down anymore!)

A Ready Check will pass if everyone responds yes, fail if someone says no, and fail if it times out. The option to initiate a Ready Check is present in the Group Menu.
You can type /readycheck into chat to initiate a check.

You are not understanding me. I am aware that they added ready check to the game already.

However, what they added is really bare bones. I am asking if the API holds data from the ready check. Right now it just says "someone in your group isn't ready." For example, does the API know exactly who isn't and who is ready? If the API does have that data, can it be added to the UI and group frame. So, people that clicked not ready have a red X and people who are ready have a green check mark.

Just checked,

This info is not provided by API.

I have no words to describe my feeling about this lack of info.

We're on 2016, I think my first Ready Check was in Lord of The Rings Online in 2007, this info was already here.
Made a little search, WoW got this feature fully complete since 2008.

So tired to add/fix/change features which should be here since alpha.

sadly,

PS: No addon can help you. Wait next DLC.

Ah that sucks. I was hoping that they put the specific data in the API and were just waiting on addon developers to implement it for them. I guess the only way to make that specific data available would be to use LibGroupSocket?

That kind of things, but it will be an entire rewrite of the feature. (in fact a ready check is only a pool which waits a 100% positive answer and displays "Everyone is ready" or false).

Everyone should have the addon installed in addition...

I have to admit I didn't look into the ready check before writing that.

It is regrettable that they built the feature how it is, as it doesn't allow addons to do anything moderately useful with it (I see a pattern there ).
Making a proper ready check should be easy with the help of LibGroupSocket, but as Ayantir noted everyone in the group would needs to install and activate it in order to make it work.
