error with zos lib and no thank you - Logviewer and folder

Error happened 3 times, could only stop it by quiting game the third time

I see the addon mentionned is No thank you, but also ZOS libs so ....

(As usual, all addons updated beside today for event tracker which was not installed yesterday)
Checked that i had not a lib installed twice with different versions

I have also notice a lot of mention of

has a set width but has resizeToFitDescendents enabled. If this is intended, use resizeToFitConstrains="Y"

for several addons. Is this important ?

It's something that addon devs should fix in their addon's XML code (or lua files if they build their UI that way).
ZOs added that warnings as info. Currently it's not any error message but maybe get one in the future.

If you notice these messages in the log files, send the mentioned addon devs an info so they can fix it.

ok will do, but i will be honest i know some will not do the change, as i have posted already about this when i was on PTS. So long ago.
But, i will redo the alert anyway

There is an addon Black Rose Prison also, but i see that the author did not post since 2022, and no one apparently follow this addon (new dev)

As i do not go there anyway, i remove the addon from my folder

ok, i will patient

in the meantime, i delete my log twice a day now, so the size of the file is not too big

usually i do not care about that file, but with all the little alerts, warning, error,, each time i reloadui, log off /on for alting, or simply have to reload or quit the game to supress some error the size went up to 8mo

About "ZO_ActiveCombatTipsTip":
Disable all addons and check if the error still happens, and if so, use /bug ingame to report it to ZOs

If not, it was any addon adding to the combat tips, like in fight helpers that show you need to block or similar.
MAybe you had such an addon active and could try them enabled alone and see if the log is updated again then.

Well the answer receive by an addon author concerning the resizeToFitDescendents is there is no issue, just ignore it

I guess i will wish that soon enough ZOS will force their instructions and block addons that will not apply them

For me i will just remove this addon

One can ignore it for sure, as it's not a real error or issue.
ZOs fixed a bug and now it shows that addons still got that bug (although ZOs code ignores it then).

As I said it is no real problem now but can always become one in the future, and the fix is real easy.
If authors ignore it now it's okay, but I don't see why one waits until it is a real problem in the future (maybe lack of understanding the provided explanation by ZOs, and how to fix it / maybe they do not play the game anymore and fear other bugs if they change code).
