Need help with HarvestMap/Merge

So I have viewed the videos here and I still do not understand how to actually use these mods. I have 2 HarvestMerge.lua files that I want to import into my game so that I have locations for nodes, but I don't know where to put these files in order for anything to work. Can someone help me?!

I've been trying this for like an hour, going back and forth between videos and README files and still can't understand what to do.

do you read comments and explanation at addon's pages?

export nodes by chat command(like in FAQ) from one harvesrmerge file to the harvest map first
replace previous harvestmerge file with the second one
export nodes from harvest merge 2nd to the harvest map. they will be added to the exicted nodes in the harvest map, you exported before
