The purpose of this to make managing your allies (companions and assistants) more convenient. It has the following features:
(1) If your companion was automatically dismissed when you summoned an assistant then they will be resummoned when you dismiss the assistant. This will never happen if you manually dismissed your companion, but will work again after you manually resummon them.
It will always summon the companion that was active before you summoned the assistant, even if that is a not the one set as your favourite.
(2) An option to resummon your assistant when you enter a new zone, which effectively lets them follow you everywhere without having to call them manually.
(3) You can set your favourite companions and assistants of each type (banker, merchant, etc.) and call them with a keybind or slash command.
The add-on automatically detects which companions and assistants your character has access to and only lets you choose those.
(4) Companion settings (reactions, multi-rider mounts, ultimate cast) can be set differently for each companion, and will be changed whenever you summon a new companion.
All of the functionality should work through log-off/log-ons and when passing through zones where companions and/or assistants are not allowed, like player houses, pvp and solo arenas.
The display language is only in English language (except where it draws on the in-game text strings), but the preferred asssistant functionality works by searching the descriptions and language files are provided for the German, Spanish and French clients. Unfortunately I haven't included been able to include files for Russian and Chinese: Russian because the translators did not use identifiably unique words to distinguish between the types, and Chinese because frankly it was too much work.
