Tooltip showing whether the style/skin for a hovered item is unlocked?

Hi,

I've done well over 6 hours of searching and troubleshooting with what's available, and I can't find an existing addon that does what I want. Namely, I am largely only concerned right now with unlocking visual styles, and while obviously there are many UI addons that show you unknown set info, trait info, etc. there doesn't seem to be something that goes and checks when you hover over an item if you have that style/skin unlocked. Ex. cover over a pair of redguard motif gloves, you see "Unlocked: yes/no"

Does anyone know if something already does this? If not, could I get some pointers for making it myself? As I understand it, deconstructing items that you don't own the skin for gives a chance to obtain the style, and will inform a great deal of my gameplay on what to keep. I am probably not going to start until I satisfy that craving, lol.

Did you check the addon "Character Knowledge" already? It contains motifs known for your chars and servers.

If this is too much you can usethe LibCharacterKnowledge and it's API to maybe create your own small addon/tooltip addition.

I did try it, yes. It looks like I will have to make it, but your guide there looks to be just what I need. Thank you!
