I guess this is one of those minor inconveniences that have to be lived with for the greater convenience that the addon overall provides.

I have been getting this msg to pop up in the chat.
The panel with id 'Votan's Tamriel Map' was registered before addon loading has completed. This might break the AddOn Settings menu.
Not sure as how to fix it. Any ideas?

The "disabled" property works for sub-menus, only. So, the answer is: No, not with AddCustomMrnuItem.

What I did at this point was to edit the saved variable LUA file and copy the account wide portion from the account that was working and copied over the same section for the account that wasn't. This fixed the pixilation again.

For the player context menu you can register a callback already. Register the lastest and remove those items from the menu list.
